In the 1999 Report on Cyberstalking compiled by the US Department of Justic, Vice-President Al Gore said "Make no mistake: this kind of harassment can be as frightening and as real as being followed and watched in your neighborhood or in your home." When dating online you will usually meet lots of nice people but every once in a while there can be someone with the wrong intentions, such as cyberstalking.
Copeland stresses that we are not born with dating skills and that we are certainly not equipped for online dating at this stage in our lives.
That doesn’t mean that women need to tread through these waters unprotected and unprepared, though.
