Toric IOLs can correct astigmatism and eliminate the distorted vision that occurs with this condition.Toric IOLs provide a single focal point for enhanced image quality for distance vision.Objects at arms length (computer screen) will often times require reading glasses to be seen clearly. Cataract patients with astigmatism who want corrective lens independence after surgery may prefer having a Toric lens implant.
